Privacy Policy — GPS Map Camera: Photo Stamp

Last updated: July 19, 2026

This policy applies specifically to the GPS Map Camera: Photo Stamp mobile app ("the App") published by ToolCraft Studio ("we", "us", "our"). Other ToolCraft Studio apps have their own separate policies.

By downloading or using GPS Map Camera, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. What GPS Map Camera Does

GPS Map Camera is a geotagging camera. When you take a photo, the App stamps location and contextual details — such as your coordinates, a nearby address, a small map, the date and time, and optionally weather, altitude, and compass direction — directly onto the image, so the photo is a self-contained record of where and when it was taken. It is designed for field documentation and personal record-keeping. There is no account or login, and your photos are designed to stay on your device.

2. Location Data

Because the App's core purpose is geotagging, it uses your device's precise (GPS) location — with your permission — to place accurate coordinates, address, and map details on your photos. You can also set or correct the location manually instead of using GPS.

Location is used on your device to build the stamp. To turn coordinates into a readable address, to draw the map thumbnail, and to fetch weather or environmental details, the App may send the relevant coordinates to third-party mapping, geocoding, and weather providers so they can return that information (see section 6). We do not use your location to track you across other apps, and location access is only active while you are using the App to capture or edit a stamp. You can revoke location permission at any time in your device settings; the App will still work in a reduced way, and you can enter locations manually.

3. Camera, Photos and Files

The App uses your device camera to capture photos and, when you choose, reads existing images through your device's standard photo picker so it can add a stamp. Your captured and stamped photos, together with your templates, presets, and app settings, are stored locally on your device (for example, in a dedicated gallery album) and are processed on the device to render the stamp. Original GPS data may also be written into the photo's EXIF metadata.

We do not upload your photos to our own servers. If you turn on optional Google Drive sync, stamped photos you choose to back up are sent to your own Google Drive account under Google's terms — not to us. When you share or export a photo, it is handed to the app, service, or destination you select, which then handles it under its own terms. We do not access the content of your photos.

4. Information We Collect

We do not intentionally collect personal information that directly identifies you (such as your name or email) unless you choose to provide it — for example, when you email our support. Some information may be collected automatically by us and by the third-party services the App uses:

5. How We Use Information

6. Third-Party Services

To provide its features, the App relies on third-party services. Depending on what you use, these may include:

These providers process data only to deliver their service to us or to you, under their own privacy policies. We maintain a posture of no selling of your personal information and no sharing of your data with third parties for their own independent purposes, and data is encrypted in transit.

7. Advertising (Google AdMob)

GPS Map Camera may be offered free and supported by ads served through Google AdMob. Ads never block the camera or the shutter. Where ads are shown, AdMob and its partners may use device identifiers and similar technologies to serve ads — including personalized (interest-based) ads — and to measure performance and prevent fraud. Ads are unrelated to the content of your photos.

You can control ad personalization at any time:

8. Analytics & Crash Reporting

We may use Google Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics) to understand how the App is used and to diagnose crashes, so we can improve stability and features. These services may collect device and usage data as described above, in accordance with Google's privacy policy. This does not include the content of your photos.

9. Your Controls: Export, Deletion & Permissions

You are in control of the data the App stores:

10. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by the third-party providers described above solely to provide their services to us or to you, under their own privacy policies. We do not share your photos or the content of your stamps with third parties for their own purposes.

11. Children's Privacy

GPS Map Camera is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Data Retention

Photos, templates, presets, and settings stored on your device remain until you remove them (for example, by deleting them in the App or uninstalling). We retain automatically collected data only for as long as necessary for the purposes in this policy, or as required by our service providers and applicable law. Aggregated or anonymized data may be retained longer.

13. Your Rights

Depending on your location (for example, under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

14. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, and data is encrypted in transit. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
