Common questions

The stamped address or location looks wrong — how do I fix it?

First, wait a moment for the location status to show it's accurate — GPS can take a few seconds to settle, especially indoors or in poor signal. Make sure location permission is granted and set to precise. If the address still isn't right, use manual location to search for or pin the correct spot and edit the address before or after capture.

Where are my photos stored? Do you upload them?

Your stamped photos stay on your device, in a dedicated album. We don't upload them to our servers. If you turn on Google Drive sync, photos you choose are backed up to your own Drive account. See the Privacy Policy for details.

How do I export or delete my data?

You can export or delete the data the app stores from within the app's settings. Deleting a photo or your app data removes it from the app, and uninstalling removes app data from your device. If you used Drive sync, manage those files in your Google Drive account.

Which permissions does the app need, and why?

Camera is needed to take photos, location is used to stamp accurate coordinates and address, and storage/photos access lets the app save stamped images and add stamps to existing pictures. You can grant or revoke each permission in your device settings; the app still works in a reduced way if one is denied.

Does it work offline?

Core capture and stamping — coordinates, date/time, altitude, and compass — work without a connection. Network-dependent fields like the map thumbnail, readable address, and weather need a signal; when you're offline the app uses cached values where possible and marks them so you know.

How do premium and the free version differ?

The free version lets you capture and stamp photos, with ads that never block the camera. Premium removes ads and unlocks additional templates and features, and may include a trial. You can manage or cancel a subscription anytime in your Google Play account. See the Terms of Use for details.
